Honda CR-X Si
Honda's original CR-X Si established the template for lightweight sport compacts, weighing just 1,799 pounds while delivering spirited performance from its 91-horsepower engine. The aerodynamic wedge shape, balanced chassis, and independent rear suspension provided handling that punched far above its modest power output. The CR-X became legendary in autocross competition and economy runs alike, demonstrating Honda's ability to create cars that were both fun and practical.

First generation featured unique targa-style roof panel option. Si trim added in 1985. 1987 was final year before redesign.
