Lancia Delta S4 Stradale

Built to homologate Lancia's fearsome Group B rally car, the S4 Stradale featured an unprecedented twin-charged engine combining both supercharger and turbocharger for instant response across the rev range. The mid-mounted 1.8-liter engine produced 250 horsepower in street trim (versus 500+ in competition), driving all four wheels through a sophisticated AWD system. With composite bodywork and a tubular spaceframe, just 200 examples were built. The S4 remains one of the most extreme and technologically advanced homologation specials ever created.

$350,000 – $650,000

Verify chassis number and original specification. Many have been modified or converted to rally cars. Original twin-charged engines are complex and expensive to maintain. Check for corrosion in tubular chassis and composite panels.

Exactly 200 road cars were built to meet Group B homologation requirements. Production ceased after Group B was banned following the 1986 season. Many examples have been modified or converted to rally specification.
