History
Lancia Aprilia
The Lancia Aprilia continued Vincenzo Lancia's innovation legacy with its streamlined aerodynamic body achieving a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.47. Its unitary body construction, four-wheel independent suspension, and compact V4 engine created a package that handled like a sports car despite being a family sedan. The Aprilia's innovative features included hydraulic brakes, a sliding steering column, and exceptional weight distribution. Production continued after WWII, cementing its reputation as one of the most advanced automobiles of the 1930s and 1940s.
