History
Lancia Astura Serie 3
The Lancia Astura represented the company's flagship luxury model during the 1930s, featuring Vincenzo Lancia's innovative narrow-angle V8 engine with its distinctive 13-degree cylinder bank angle. The Series 3 introduced a longer wheelbase and more powerful engine, making it ideal for formal coachwork by prestigious carrozzerie. Pininfarina, Castagna, and Touring created some of their most spectacular bodies on Astura chassis. Total production was limited to around 2,900 units across all series, with Series 3 examples being the most refined and rare.
