History
Studebaker Golden Hawk
Studebaker's Golden Hawk represented the pinnacle of the Hawk series with its Paxton-supercharged 289 V8 engine. The striking design featured a unique fiberglass hood with functional scoop, elegant tail fins, and luxurious interior appointments including leather and vinyl upholstery. Despite impressive performance, the Golden Hawk's high price and Studebaker's declining fortunes limited production to just one year.
