Ferrari 365 GTC/4
Introduced at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, the 365 GTC/4 combined the 340-hp Daytona V12 with elegant Pininfarina styling and a surprisingly practical 2+2 layout. The car featured advanced aerodynamics including a flat undertray and featured power steering, power windows, and air conditioning as standard equipment, making it Ferrari's most civilized offering of the era.
Check for rust in floor pans and rear shock towers. Verify engine and gearbox numbers match Ferrari's archives. Air conditioning systems often need rebuilding. The complex six-carburetor setup requires expert tuning. Service records are essential given the complexity of the V12 engine. Original paint and interior significantly increase value.
Only 505 examples were built between 1971 and 1972. The model replaced the 365 GT 2+2 and was succeeded by the 365 GT4 2+2. Despite sharing the Daytona's engine, the GTC/4 was detuned slightly for smoother power delivery and used six side-draft Webers instead of downdraft carburetors.
