History
Mazda MX-6 Turbo (GE6P)
The first-generation MX-6 Turbo delivered spirited front-wheel-drive performance with the turbocharged F2T engine producing 190hp in Japanese specification. The sleek coupe styling with pop-up headlights and wedge profile turned heads, while sport suspension and upgraded brakes handled the turbocharged power. Digital instrument cluster and well-appointed interior provided 1980s high-tech appeal. Though overshadowed by Mazda's rotary and rear-drive sports cars, the MX-6 Turbo offered accessible performance and strong modification potential.
