Bizzarrini P538 Spyder

Giotto Bizzarrini's bold attempt at a sports racing car, the P538 featured a mid-mounted Chevrolet 327 V8 producing 365 horsepower in a lightweight tubular chassis weighing just 750kg. The stunning open bodywork was designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency. Despite limited production, the P538 competed in various racing series including Can-Am and European sports car championships. Today these ultra-rare prototypes represent one of the most exotic combinations of Italian design and American muscle.

$800,000 – $1,500,000

Extremely rare with only 7 examples known to exist. Verify provenance and chassis numbers carefully. Most have extensive racing histories. Parts availability is virtually non-existent requiring custom fabrication.

Only 7 examples were built between 1967-1968. Each car was essentially a prototype with individual specifications. Most were built for racing customers.
