Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package
The Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package was the track-focused evolution of what was already one of the world's finest supercars. Limited to just 50 units out of the total 500 LFA production run, the Nurburgring Package added power, aerodynamic downforce, and chassis stiffness to create a car that could lap the Nordschleife faster than cars costing twice as much.
The 1LR-GUE V10 engine received revised intake tuning and exhaust modifications that lifted output to 563 horsepower at 8,700 rpm — a modest 10-hp increase over the standard car. More significantly, the engine's response was sharpened, with even quicker throttle reaction and a more aggressive exhaust note. The 9,000 rpm redline remained, and the engine's ability to rev from idle to redline in 0.6 seconds continued to defy belief.
The most visible change was a fixed carbon-fiber rear wing replacing the standard car's retractable unit. Combined with a revised front splitter, deeper side skirts, and a modified rear diffuser, the Nurburgring Package generated significantly more downforce than the standard LFA. The car's ride height was lowered, and stiffer springs and damper rates were fitted, with the suspension specifically tuned using data gathered from extensive testing at the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
The Nurburgring Package LFA lapped the Nordschleife in 7:14.64 — a time that placed it among the fastest road-legal cars to ever circulate the circuit. This time, set by test driver Akira Iida, demonstrated that the LFA could compete at the highest level of circuit performance.
The braking system retained the standard car's carbon-ceramic Brembo discs but with revised pad compounds optimized for track use. Lighter 20-inch BBS forged wheels reduced unsprung mass, and stickier tires provided increased grip. The ASG gearbox received revised shift mapping for faster, more aggressive gear changes.
Inside, the Nurburgring Package featured more extensive use of Alcantara, carbon-fiber trim, and a numbered plaque identifying each car's place in the 50-unit production run.
The LFA Nurburgring Package is the rarest and most valuable variant of one of the most extraordinary modern supercars. With only 50 produced, opportunities to acquire one are exceptionally rare, and values reflect both the car's scarcity and its status as the ultimate expression of Toyota/Lexus engineering ambition.
With only 50 built, every car is individually documented. Verify through Lexus records and the build number plaque. All Nurburgring Package-specific components must be present (fixed wing, revised bumpers, BBS wheels). Track use history should be disclosed. Service records from authorized Lexus dealers essential. These cars rarely change hands — opportunities are exceptional.
Only 50 of the 500 total LFAs were built to Nurburgring Package specification at the LFA Works in Toyota City, Japan. Each was individually numbered. The package was developed based on extensive testing at the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
