Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo

The 1994 Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo is the definitive expression of the A80 generation and arguably the most iconic Japanese sports car ever produced. The JDM-spec RZ featured the legendary 2JZ-GTE inline-six with sequential twin turbochargers producing an official 280 horsepower (Japanese gentleman's agreement), though true output was closer to 330 hp. Paired with the bullet-proof Getrag V160 6-speed manual transmission, the Supra could achieve 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. More importantly, the 2JZ's cast-iron block and robust internals routinely handle over 1,000 horsepower with simple modifications, cementing its status as the ultimate tuner platform and modern legend.

$85,000 – $185,000

JDM RZ models with 6-speed manual command premium pricing. Verify engine is original 2JZ-GTE with sequential twin-turbo setup. Check for modifications as most have been tuned. Look for rust in rear subframe mounting points. Targa top seals can leak. Original unmolested examples are extremely rare and valuable. Verify chassis stiffness on Targa models.

Built at Toyota's prestigious Motomachi plant where the 2000GT was also produced. JDM-spec RZ models featured the stronger Getrag 6-speed transmission compared to export models. Production continued until 2002 in Japan.
