Porsche 935 Turbo

Porsche's 935 represented the ultimate evolution of the turbocharged 911 race car, dominating Group 5 silhouette racing throughout the late 1970s. The twin-turbocharged flat-six produced over 750 horsepower from just 3.2 liters, while the dramatically flared bodywork and massive rear wing provided downforce at speeds exceeding 220 mph. The factory 935 variants won over 100 races including Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring, while customer cars competed globally. With its distinctive 'slant-nose' design and dominant performance, the 935 became one of the most successful racing Porsches ever built.

$3,500,000 – $6,000,000

Extremely rare and valuable, most examples have extensive racing history. Verify chassis authenticity and race provenance carefully. Factory works cars command highest values. Customer cars and later K3 variants also highly collectible. Requires professional racing team maintenance and support.

Based on 930 Turbo but heavily modified for Group 5 regulations. Factory built works cars plus sold customer racing versions. Various evolutions included 935/77, 935/78 'Moby Dick', and 935 K3. Most successful Porsche racing car by number of victories.
