Mazda RX-5

The RX-5 continued Mazda's Cosmo lineage with more practical packaging and improved rotary technology. Its 13B engine incorporated thermal reactor emissions control while maintaining strong performance. The pillared coupe design offered better structural rigidity and rear-seat access than traditional hardtops. Distinguished by its angular 1970s styling and excellent build quality, it bridged the gap between the original Cosmo and later RX-7.
