Iso Grifo GL
Iso's masterpiece, the Grifo featured gorgeous coupe bodywork by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone wrapped around a Chevrolet 327 V8 and sophisticated chassis engineered by Giotto Bizzarrini. This combination delivered supercar performance with the reliability and ease of maintenance of American powertrains. The Grifo could match contemporary Ferraris in performance while offering superior practicality. Over its production run, various American V8 engines were fitted, including the legendary Corvette small-block and big-block units.
Verify matching numbers and original engine specification. Rust in body structure is a major concern. Check for proper De Dion rear suspension operation. Service history essential. Many were modified with non-original engines. Italian title and documentation preferred.
