Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato

The Flaminia Sport represented Zagato's interpretation of Lancia's sophisticated luxury platform, shortening the wheelbase and applying aggressive lightweight coachwork to transform the elegant sedan into a genuine sports car. Lancia's advanced engineering included the Aurelia-derived V6 engine with hemispherical combustion chambers, transaxle configuration for optimal weight distribution, and inboard rear disc brakes to reduce unsprung weight. Zagato's distinctive body featured their trademark double-bubble roof along with carefully sculpted air intakes and aggressive stance that signaled the car's sporting character. With only 99 examples produced across three engine sizes, the Flaminia Sport Zagato remains one of the most exclusive and technically sophisticated Italian GTs of the 1960s.
