Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R KPGC110 (Kenmeri)
The KPGC110 GT-R was produced for just four months in 1972-1973 before emissions regulations ended production, making it the Holy Grail of Skylines. It featured the legendary S20 inline-6 engine with triple Weber carburetors producing 160 horsepower. The car's extreme rarity and racing heritage have made it one of the most valuable Japanese classic cars, with pristine examples commanding prices exceeding half a million dollars.
Verifying authenticity is critical as clones exist. Check chassis number against GT-R registry. Most examples have been restored or modified. Expect rust in rear quarters and floor pans.
Production ceased after just 197 units due to new emissions regulations. The GT-R nameplate would not return until the R32 in 1989.
