Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 W-30

The Cutlass 442 W-30 represented Oldsmobile's most serious performance offering during the muscle car era's peak. The W-30 package included aluminum intake manifold, hotter camshaft, and special exhaust producing 370 horsepower from the 455 cubic inch Rocket V8. Unlike its more flamboyant competitors, the W-30 maintained Oldsmobile's refined appearance while delivering genuine quarter-mile performance. The combination of Hurst shifter, hood-mounted tachometer, and functional scoops made it a sleeper that could embarrass more obvious muscle cars.
