Ferrari 250 GT Boano

The 250 GT Boano represented an important evolution in Ferrari's road car development, combining the proven Colombo V12 engine with more refined coachwork aimed at comfortable long-distance touring. Mario Boano's design was elegant and understated compared to earlier Ferraris, with improved interior space and comfort features. Only about 80 examples were produced before production shifted to Pininfarina, making these early 250 GTs relatively rare. The Boano bridged the gap between Ferrari's racing-oriented early cars and the more sophisticated grand tourers that would follow.
