The Honda 1300 Coupe 9 represented Soichiro Honda's vision of bringing F1 technology to the masses. The air-cooled DDAC (Duo Dyna Air Cooling) engine featured dual distributors, dry-sump lubrication, and innovative cooling that used separate intake and exhaust fans. The 1298cc SOHC four produced 115 hp at 7300 rpm, delivering genuine sports sedan performance. Front-wheel drive with all-independent suspension provided excellent handling.
