Moskvitch 408

The Moskvitch 408 represented Soviet automotive engineering at its most practical during the 1960s and 1970s. Its sturdy construction, simple maintenance, and adequate 50hp engine made it popular both domestically and in export markets including Western Europe. The car featured modern styling for its era with a spacious interior for its class. Over a million units were produced, making the 408 one of the most successful Soviet exports and a common sight from Finland to Belgium.
