Callaway C12 6.0 V8

The Callaway C12 represented the ultimate expression of Reeves Callaway's vision for what the Chevrolet Corvette could become. Starting with the C5 Corvette's hydroformed frame and LS1 V8, Callaway replaced every body panel with stunning carbon fiber bodywork designed by Paul Deutschman, creating a car that looked nothing like its donor while retaining GM's structural and powertrain engineering. The SuperNatural engine package boosted the LS1/LS6 V8 to 440 horsepower through a combination of supercharging, revised intake and exhaust systems, and ECU calibration. The interior was completely retrimmed in premium leather and Alcantara, with bespoke gauges and trim. What made the C12 special was its duality — it was comfortable enough for long-distance touring yet capable of extraordinary track performance. With only 18 examples believed to have been built (including both coupe and convertible variants), the C12 is among the rarest American supercars. Callaway's reputation for engineering excellence, established through decades of Corvette tuning and the legendary Callaway Sledgehammer, gave the C12 credibility that few small-volume builders could match.

Extremely rare — fewer than 20 built. Verify authenticity through Callaway directly with VIN documentation. The Corvette underpinnings mean the drivetrain is well-supported, but body panels and interior trim are unique to Callaway. Previous owners and service history are critical for valuations.

Built on the C5 Corvette platform with completely new Paul Deutschman-designed bodywork. Later versions used the LS6 engine as a base. Callaway offered both coupe and convertible variants. Each car took approximately 3 months to build. Available in left and right-hand drive.
