Volvo P1800ES
The P1800ES represented Volvo's innovative answer to creating a practical sports car by adding a distinctive glass-backed shooting brake rear end to the elegant P1800 coupe. The large, frameless glass tailgate and extended roofline created a unique silhouette that remains striking today. With the upgraded B20E fuel-injected engine providing 118 horsepower and significantly more cargo space than the coupe, the ES offered a compelling blend of style and utility that anticipated modern sports wagons by decades.
