History
Puma GT
Puma was Brazil's most successful sports car manufacturer, building elegant fiberglass-bodied coupes on Volkswagen Beetle mechanicals. The GT combined Italian-inspired styling with Brazilian craftsmanship and German reliability. Despite modest power from air-cooled VW engines, light weight provided sprightly performance. Pumas were exported to over 30 countries including the USA, and the company built various models for over 25 years, becoming a Brazilian automotive icon.
