The Marcos GT featured revolutionary marine plywood chassis construction, offering exceptional rigidity at minimal weight. Its distinctive Dennis Adams-designed bodywork divided opinion but delivered excellent aerodynamics. The car's low build height and mid-mounted engine position created superb handling dynamics. Various Ford and Volvo engines were fitted, with the lightweight structure amplifying their performance.
