Marcos GT Xylon
The Marcos GT pioneered the use of laminated marine plywood for its chassis structure, providing exceptional strength with minimal weight. Designed by Dennis and Peter Adams, it featured wind-tunnel-developed aerodynamics and distinctive 'face' front end. Powered by Volvo or Ford engines, the ultra-lightweight construction delivered remarkable performance and the plywood chassis proved incredibly durable in competition.
