Hino Contessa 1300 Coupe
Before focusing exclusively on trucks, Hino Motors produced the elegant Contessa passenger car. The coupe featured styling by Giovanni Michelotti and represented Japan's growing automotive sophistication in the early 1960s. Hino merged with Toyota in 1967, ending Contessa production and making survivors extremely rare and valuable today.
