History
Bandini 1000 P
The Bandini 1000 P was built by Ilario Bandini's small workshop in Forlì, producing hand-crafted racing sports cars. The mid-engine layout was advanced for its time, providing excellent balance and handling characteristics. Using modified Fiat-OSCA engines, these lightweight racers were competitive in Italian hillclimbs and sports car races throughout the 1960s. Each car was essentially hand-built to order, with total production likely under 50 units across all variants, making them extremely rare survivors of Italy's small constructor era.
