Saab Sonett I

The Saab Sonett I was a pure competition car developed for racing and rallying, combining Saab's aeronautical expertise with their unconventional automotive engineering. Its lightweight fiberglass body housed a highly-tuned three-cylinder two-stroke engine driving the front wheels. With only six examples constructed, it remains one of the rarest Swedish automobiles ever built, though it inspired later Sonett production models.
