Maserati 450S

The Maserati 450S represented the Trident's most serious challenge to Ferrari's sports racing dominance. Powered by a powerful V8 engine producing 400 horsepower, it featured sophisticated engineering including a tubular space frame and De Dion rear suspension. The car competed at Le Mans, Sebring, and the Nürburgring with notable success. Only 10 examples were built, making it one of the rarest competition Maseratis.
