History
Maserati A6G/54
The A6G/54 represented Maserati's transition from pure racing to refined grand touring automobiles, utilizing a detuned version of their successful A6GCS racing engine. The twin-cam inline-six delivered smooth power through a four-speed gearbox to a sophisticated chassis with coil spring independent front suspension. Only 60 examples were produced, most receiving stunning coachwork from Frua, Zagato, or Allemano. This rare Maserati combined motorsport pedigree with luxurious road-going refinement, establishing the template for the brand's future grand touring models.
