Borgward Isabella TS
The Borgward Isabella TS was one of the most successful German cars of the 1950s, featuring modern unibody construction and sophisticated suspension design. The TS (Touring Sport) version offered enhanced performance with twin carburetors and sport tuning. Carl Borgward's company briefly challenged Mercedes-Benz and Opel for market dominance in the mid-1950s. Financial difficulties ended production in 1961, making the Isabella a poignant reminder of Germany's complex post-war automotive landscape.
