History
Fiat 8V Supersonic
The Fiat 8V was already rare with only 114 chassis produced, but the Ghia Supersonic body represented the most dramatic styling exercise on this platform. Designed by Giovanni Savonuzzi with aircraft-inspired aerodynamics, it featured distinctive transparent roof panels and flowing lines that influenced automotive design throughout the 1950s. Only three Supersonic bodies were built on 8V chassis, making them among the rarest Fiats ever produced. The combination of Fiat's advanced V8 engine, sophisticated chassis, and futuristic coachwork created one of the most significant designs of the era.
