Duesenberg Model A

The Duesenberg Model A represented a technological leap in American automotive engineering with its advanced straight-eight engine. It was the first American production car to feature hydraulic brakes on all four wheels, a safety innovation years ahead of competitors. Fred Duesenberg's engineering prowess created a luxury car that competed directly with European marques. Only about 650 Model A cars were produced before the introduction of the legendary Model J.
