Nissan 180SX Type X
The 180SX Type X combined practical hatchback versatility with serious performance from the turbocharged SR20DET engine producing 205hp. The fixed headlight design distinguished it from its Silvia cousin while sharing the excellent S-chassis platform. Type X specification included rear spoiler, side skirts, upgraded suspension, and viscous limited-slip differential. Popular for both street driving and motorsport use, the 180SX became a drift icon and canvas for extensive modification in Japanese tuning culture.
