History
Mitsubishi Minica Dangan ZZ
The Minica Dangan ZZ was Mitsubishi's entry into the fierce kei car performance battle of the late 1980s. Drawing on their rally heritage, they created a pocket rocket with a turbocharged SOHC inline-3 and viscous-coupling 4WD system. The ZZ variant featured upgraded suspension, limited-slip differential, and aggressive styling that made it stand out in Japan's congested streets. While less common than the Alto Works, the Dangan ZZ has developed a dedicated following for its raw character and Mitsubishi's rally DNA.
