Saab 900 SPG
The Saab 900 SPG represented the pinnacle of the original 900 lineup, featuring an intercooled turbocharged engine producing 175 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The SPG package included a comprehensive aerodynamic body kit with front air dam, side skirts, and rear spoiler, along with sport suspension, upgraded brakes, and distinctive gold-painted alloy wheels. Inside, Recaro sport seats and full instrumentation completed the performance-oriented package. Known as the Aero in European markets, the SPG demonstrated Saab's ability to create a genuinely fast front-wheel-drive car with character and sophistication.
