AC 428
The AC 428 mated a Frua-designed steel body with Cobra-derived chassis and Ford's mighty 427 V8. Unlike its stripped-out Cobra sibling, the 428 offered luxury GT comfort with leather interior and comprehensive equipment. The convertible and fastback coupe versions provided genuine 140mph performance with continental touring refinement. Hand-built in tiny numbers, it remains AC's most exclusive model.
