History
Skoda 1000MB
Introduced in 1964, the Skoda 1000MB represented a significant modernization of Czechoslovak automotive design with its rear-mounted inline-4 engine. The car offered practical transportation with decent performance from its 50hp mill. Its unibody construction and independent suspension provided improved handling compared to earlier models. The 1000MB became a popular choice across Eastern Europe and laid groundwork for subsequent Skoda designs.
