History
Skoda Rapid
Launched in 1935, the Skoda Rapid showcased Czechoslovak engineering excellence in the sports car segment before World War II. The elegant streamlined bodywork concealed a robust 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivering spirited performance. Available in both roadster and coupe variants, the Rapid competed successfully in rallies across Europe. Its reputation for reliability and sporting character helped establish Skoda's pre-war prestige, though production ceased during the German occupation and briefly resumed post-war.
