The Skoda 1000 MB represented a radical departure for the Czech manufacturer, adopting rear-engine, rear-wheel drive layout inspired by contemporary European trends. Its clean, modern styling by Italian designers broke completely from Skoda's conservative past, featuring sleek lines and improved aerodynamics.
