Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34

The Karmann Ghia Type 34 was designed by Sergio Sartorelli at Carrozzeria Ghia as a more upscale alternative to the Type 14. Built on the VW Type 3 platform, it featured a larger, more powerful flat-four engine and improved interior space. The razor-edge styling with its distinctive notchback profile made it one of the most elegant Volkswagens ever produced. Despite its beauty, it sold poorly compared to its sibling and remains relatively obscure today, with only about 42,000 units built.
