Checker Marathon
The Checker Marathon was designed primarily as a taxi but offered to private buyers as well. Its body-on-frame construction and simple engineering made it virtually indestructible. The roomy cabin could seat six comfortably, and many examples exceeded 500,000 miles in taxi service.
