History
Berkeley T60
Built by caravan manufacturer Berkeley Cars, the T60 featured front-wheel drive and a motorcycle-derived Excelsior twin or triple-cylinder two-stroke engine. Its fiberglass monocoque construction made it incredibly light at just 340kg. The T60 featured a distinctive fastback design and chain drive to the front wheels. Financial difficulties ended production after only about 1,000 units, making it a rare collector's item today.
