Berkeley Sports SE328

Berkeley Cars applied their experience with fiberglass caravan construction to create ultra-lightweight sports cars. The SE328 used an Excelsior twin-cylinder two-stroke motorcycle engine driving the front wheels through a motorcycle-type chain transmission. Despite weighing only 350 kg, reliability issues with the two-stroke engines contributed to Berkeley's closure in 1960.
