History
Lincoln Continental Mark II
The Continental Mark II was Ford's answer to the European luxury marques, built with no expense spared. Each car was hand-assembled and individually tested, with prices exceeding contemporary Cadillacs and even Rolls-Royce models. The clean, elegant styling avoided excessive chrome in favor of timeless proportions and restrained details. Power came from a specially-selected Lincoln V8 engine, mated exclusively to a multi-drive automatic transmission for effortless cruising.
