History
FSO Warszawa
Based on the Soviet GAZ-M20 Pobeda, the FSO Warszawa became the symbol of Polish automotive industry from 1951 to 1973. Its robust construction and reliable 2.1-liter engine made it ideal for harsh Eastern European conditions. The car served multiple roles including police vehicles, taxis, and government transport. Despite its Soviet origins, Polish engineers continuously improved the design, making it uniquely Polish and earning it a special place in the nation's automotive heritage.
