IFA F9 Limousine

The IFA F9 was developed from pre-war DKW prototypes and became East Germany's first post-war car production. Built in Zwickau, it featured advanced front-wheel drive and a three-cylinder two-stroke engine producing characteristic blue exhaust smoke. The F9 evolved into the Wartburg line and represented Eastern Bloc automotive engineering.
