Delahaye 175 S Roadster

The Delahaye 175 S was the company's final attempt to maintain their position in the luxury market against declining demand for coachbuilt automobiles. Its sophisticated inline-six engine featured overhead valves and Cotal electromagnetic transmission. Spectacular bodies by Chapron, Saoutchik, and Figoni et Falaschi made each car unique, but high costs and changing tastes led to Delahaye's demise in 1954.
