Thomas Flyer Model L
The Thomas Flyer gained immortality by winning the grueling 1908 New York to Paris race, covering 22,000 miles through primitive roads and wilderness. Its robust six-cylinder engine and sturdy construction proved ideal for the challenge. Following this victory, Thomas enjoyed brief prosperity selling to wealthy buyers. The company struggled financially and ceased production by 1919.
