History
Wiesmann MF 30
Wiesmann Fahrzeugbau, founded by brothers Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann, launched the MF 30 in 1993 as their first production model. The car featured retro styling inspired by 1950s British roadsters, with a hand-formed aluminum body over a tubular steel chassis. Power came from BMW's 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 231 hp, providing modern performance with classic aesthetics. Each car was hand-built in Dülmen, Germany, with customers able to specify individual requirements. Limited production of approximately 100 units over four years ensured exclusivity, establishing Wiesmann's reputation for bespoke sports cars before the company's later financial difficulties.
