Dome Zero

The Dome Zero showcased Japanese ambition in the supercar realm with its dramatically low, wedge-shaped profile inspired by prototype race cars. Designed by Minoru Hayashi, it featured a mid-mounted Nissan L20 engine in an ultra-lightweight tubular frame chassis. The car's radical styling with its fighter jet canopy and flush surfaces made it a star at the 1978 Geneva Motor Show. Though only a handful were built, the Zero influenced Japanese automotive design and established Dome's reputation in motorsport engineering.
